2025 Executive Board Members and Duties

as per the Bylaws

PRESIDENT	Preside at all meetings. Name the chairpersons for all committees and for special committees. Be an ex-officio member of all committees. Be an ex-officio member of the Board for the first year after she has served as President to provide continuity in the league.
VICE-PRESIDENT	Preside in the absence of the President. In the event the VP is unable to act, the Board shall appoint some other member of the Board who shall assume all duties and functions of the President on an interim basis. Serve as Weekly Events Chairperson. She may appoint Co-Chairpersons to help with the weekly events or hostesses to assist the VP with duties of the Weekly Events.
SECRETARY	Keep a record of all annual and special meetings of the members. Keep a record of all meetings of the Board and the Executive Board. Have charge of all papers and correspondence.
TREASURER	Receive all funds and deposit such funds in the depositories as may be approved by the Executive Committee. Disburse funds upon approval by the Executive Committee. Maintain records of all receipts and disbursements. Submit such reports to local, State, and Federal agencies as may be required by law. Submit monthly reports to the Executive Committee and annual reports to the membership at the meetings of the league. Submit books for audit once a year.
MEMBERSHIP	Keep a record of all members, together with their standing, regarding dues and fees. Work with the Pro Shop to ensure the membership data is accurate and reflects the current membership status. Prepare a roster for the league, with the assistance of the Executive Committee, and see that all members receive an electronic copy.
MEMBER-AT-LARGE/PUBLICITY	• Perform various duties at the President’s discretion that will enable the league to run more smoothly. She may work as publicist, communications specialist, or historian or in other capacities as needed.
PAST PRESIDENT/NOMINATING CHAIR	Act in an advisory capacity. Chair the Nominating Committee. Secure prizes for “end of year” awards.
